“Keep your shirt on” means “be patient.” Why would an impatient person take off his shirt? Well, sometimes we see images of people getting very angry and ripping off their shirts, like the Incredible Hulk. So maybe “keep your shirt on” is like “don’t get angry” or “stay calm”.

「シャツを着たままにしろ（脱ぐな）」は「我慢して待て」という意味です。なぜ我慢できない人はシャツを脱ぐのでしょうか？それは、インクレディブル・ハルクみたいにすごく怒ったときにシャツを引き裂くイメージがあるからです。なので、「Keep Your Shirt On シャツを脱ぐな」は「怒るな」や「興奮するな」みたいな意味からきているのでしょう。
