If you are stranded, it means you have no way to get home or get to your destination. For example, if your friend takes you to a party in his car but then leaves without you, you could be stranded because you don’t have a car to drive home. If your boat sinks, you could be stranded on a desert island.

「Stranded」という状態は移動方法がなくて帰れない又は目的地にいけない状態です。例えば、友達の車で一緒にパーティーに行ったけど、友達が先に車で帰ってしまったら帰れなくて困ります。乗ってる船が沈没したら、無人島に漂着するかもしれません。
