The drawing board is a special kind of desk for drawing out plans or designing inventions. If your plan or invention doesn’t work, you have to go back to the drawing board and start over.

製図板はスケッチや設計などのために使う特別な机みたいなものです。計画したことや発明した物がちゃんと起動しなかった場合、製図板に戻って一からやり直します。
