To get the picture is to understand something. You can take in information and words without really understanding it, but when you can “picture” the information meaningfully in your mind, you have understood it.
「いいえ、来週も会いたくない。二度と会いたくないの。わかった？」
Get the picture は「理解する」ということです。情報や言葉を単に頭に入れても、必ずその意味を理解している訳ではありません。ですが、その意味を「picture 想像」できるなら、ちゃんと理解した事になりますね。
