“Have fun on your trip. I’ll miss you!”
When someone close to us is not nearby, or we can’t see or talk to them for a while, we miss them. This phrase tells someone who is leaving that the speaker will feel lonely while they are gone. We want our friends to enjoy their vacation without worrying, but we don’t want them to feel like we don’t care whether they are around or not!

親しい人が近くにいない、または長い期間喋ったり会ったりできない場合、寂しくなります。このフレーズを使う事で相手にこれから寂しくなると伝えることができます。友達に心配しないで旅行を楽しんで欲しいですが、いてもいなくてどうでもいいと思われているようには感じて欲しくないですね。
