Giving something one’s all means to try as hard as possible, to put all your strength and energy into a task. We often hear this phrase used for sports, but you can give your all when attempting to achieve any difficult goal.

「勝っても負けても、全力が出せたらよいのだ！」
「Give your all」とは、できる限り頑張る、全力を出すことです。スポーツで良く聞きますが、難しい目標なら何にでも使えます。
