“Guess what! We got a new cat!”
“Guess what! I brought cookies!”
“Guess what! I got 100% on my math test!”
“Guess what” tells the listener that you have some exciting news to share. It’s usually good news, but not always: “Guess what happened this morning! I almost got hit by a car.” It can also be used sarcastically.

「びっくりするなよ？クッキー持ってきた！」
「なんだと思う？数学のテストで満点とった！」
「Guess what」はワクワクするようなニュースがあることを示します。普段は良い知らせだけど、絶対にそうとは限りません：「今朝何があったと思う？車にぶつかりそうになって！」皮肉な使い方もあります。
