何かが「the best」や「the most」だと、今後それを超えるのは難しいなと思います。「Yet」をつけることで、今のがすごくよかったと喜ぶ同時に次は更にいいかもしれないと楽観的な意見を示すことができます。
If something is “the best” or “the most”, it seems unlikely that there will be one that is better or more in the future. By adding the word “yet” we can be excited about how good this one is, while still expecting that the next one might be even better.
