During Happy Valley 1 Unit 8 Storytime, use this video to introduce the main vocabulary and target language. After watching, open the teacher’s book and look at the picture. See what students can say before moving on to the Let’s Learn section for vocabulary and dialogue practice.

At Home Tip
This storytime will introduce you and your child to animals and insects found in and around the pond near Kinka’s and Pinka’s house. After watching, do the gestures for each creature using our gesture video. Say one of the words and do the gesture with your child. Or, make up your own gestures and pretend to be the animals.
