「At once」は同時に複数のことが起きた時などに使います。（一つ目の例文「皆が一斉にしゃべる。」）「今すぐ」「直ちに」という意味もあります。（二つ目の例文「すぐに電話をする」）
“At once” can mean that many things happened at the same time (everyone speaking, in the first example). It can also mean “right away” or “immediately” (“I will call him right now”, in the second example).
