To “dare” someone is to challenge them to do something. Children often dare each other to do things that are scary or unpleasant. Many children have gotten in trouble for doing something they were dared to! “Billy dared me to” is no excuse for doing something dangerous or wrong.

「イヤだ～！気持ち悪い！」
誰かに dare するとは、何かするように挑発することです。よく子供はお互いに怖いことや嫌なことをさせようとします。多くの子供は、この dare な行為で怒られてきました。危ないことや間違っていることをした時、「ビリーにやれって言われたから」は言い訳になりませんね。
