Color blindness is an inability to see colors. One common type is red-green color blindness. People with this condition can see other colors normally, but red and green look the same. It can be caused when the signals sent by the “cone” cells in the eyes that detect red and green are too similar.
Color blindness（色覚異常）は色が見えないという体質です。ほとんどが赤緑色覚異常です。この体質を持つ人は、他の色はちゃんと見えますが、赤と緑だけは同じように見えます。原因は目の赤と緑を感知する「錐体細胞」のシグナルが似ているからです。
