At work: “Are you available after lunch? I want to discuss the budget for our project.”
An object or space that is “available” is free for you to use or buy. If a person or animal is available, it means they are free in terms of time or obligation to interact with you or enter a relationship with you.

物や場所が「available」だったら、使ったり買ったりすることができます。人や動物の場合は、時間や約束、一緒に過ごしたり、あなたと関わったりする事を言います。
